The final result of BPSC 68 was announced on Monday, January 15th in the late evening. Out of the 322 candidates who were successful, 6 were women and 4 were men. Priyangi Mehta, who recently became a Revenue Officer, secured the first rank. She achieved this feat in her first attempt, making it a golden opportunity for her. As she is from Patna, many are curious about her study schedule, the number of hours she dedicated to studying, and the resources she used.
Priyangi Mehta has also mentioned that she will be appearing for an interview in UPSC, although the date has not been announced yet. Interestingly, she did not take any coaching classes, watch any videos, or prepare from any institute. She solely relied on self-study and mentioned that she enjoyed reading books. According to her, reading books is crucial for clearing the mains exam, as one may be able to crack the preliminary exam but may face difficulties in the mains.
Priyangi Mehta has also shared her strategy for the BPSC exam. She has stated that the BPSC syllabus has undergone many changes in the last 2 years, but there is not much difference between the UPSC and BPSC syllabus. The only difference is the inclusion of Bihar Special in the BPSC syllabus. Priyangi Mehta was able to cover the economy and geography of Bihar in just 2 to 3 months. It is worth mentioning that Priyangi Mehta has three sisters, one of whom is Aditi Mehta, currently pursuing B.Com, and the other is Aastha Mehta, preparing for NEET.
